Revelan nuevos detalles sobre Mega Man 11

Muchos jugadores alrededor del mundo están muy emocionados con el anuncio de Mega Man 11 y compartó el sentimiento. Aunque el título está planeado para debutar en algún momento de 2018, la información relacionada con los elementos del próximo juego del Blue Bomber comienza a fluir.


El próximo número de la revista Game Informer incluye algunos detalles sobre Mega Man 11, después de todo el título ocupa la portada. De inicio, los fans de la dificultad que siempre ha distinguido a los juegos de Mega Man pueden estar tranquilos y esperar un reto a la altura pues las opciones incluyen dificultad Normal y Superhero; ésta última pensada en los jugadores más aguerridos.

En cuestión de historia, los Robot Masters de Mega Man 11 fueron antiguos aliados del Dr. Light y gracias a que él los conoce te permitirá enfrentarte a los 8 robots en el orden que quieras.


En referencia a las mecánicas de juego, Mega Man 11 tendrá una ruleta de armas asignada al stick derecho de los controles y pensada para hacer un cambio rápido si recuerdas la dirección en que colocaste el armamento. Finalmente, en el trailer del juego pudimos ver unos engranes que están abajo de la línea de vida y, según la información de Game Informer, obedecen a una nueva mecánica de juego de la que no se han revelado detalles pero se especula que podría ser un movimiento especial o desesperado antes de agotar las últimas líneas de vida.

La ciudad de Monterey le dió la bienvenida a la temporada navideña con el show “An Irish Christmas”

MONTEREY, CA – El Golden State Theatre se transportó a Irlanda para presentar el espectáculo navideño “An Irish Christmas”. Cada país tiene su propia manera de celebrar la Navidad. Irlanda no es la excepción ya que algunas costumbres únicas que la Isla Esmeralda tiene para ofrecer, y durante el espectáculo “An Irish Christmas” el público pudo ver el particular estilo de vida de los irlandeses.


Una de esas raras costumbres son los muchachos de Reyezuelo o “Wren boys”. Los hombres jóvenes se pintan la cara de negro y se visten con trajes hechos de paja. El aspecto más interesante de este disfraz es una máscara de paja. Los muchachos reyezuelo van de casa en casa y cantan canciones especiales. Llevan un reyezuelo muerto y el propósito de su canto es en recolectar dinero para el funeral del ave. Más tarde, por supuesto, beben con la colecta de dinero en el bar del pueblo, cantan algunas canciones y tocar música. Sin embargo, existe un significado más profundo detrás de esto. El reyezuelo simboliza el año viejo que llega a su fin. Sin embargo, el pájaro Robin o petirrojo europeo representa el Año Nuevo. Estos rituales se remontan a tiempos pre-cristianos.


El espectáculo “An Irish Christmas” nos recuerda que hubo una Navidad diferente antes de que el mundo globalizado fuera dominado por los anglosajónes o Walt Disney el cual acaparó el mercado con imágenes de Santa Claus. Cada país tiene su manera única. Por ejemplo, la vela era un símbolo místico que se remonta a los tiempos cuando los supresores inglés prohibieron la misa católica celebrada en gaélico. La vela en la ventana era un símbolo secreto de un lugar seguro para disfrutar de una misa en secreto.


Hay himnos y villancicos antiguos en la lengua gaélica que son cantados en Navidad como el Wexford Carol y los integraron e hicieron parte del espectáculo. Para los irlandeses celebrar la Navidad es una tradición que se mantiene viva en el país.
